Bring your family & friends to Gring's Mill, and walk through the illuminated park and see our light displays and decorations.  Sit in the upper level of the barn by the fireplace and enjoy lively entertainment each night from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Kids will look forward to visiting Santa and telling him their wish list.

They will also like watching the trains wind their way through the miniature town in the former Generating Station on the bridge.  Built and operated by members of the Pottstown & Reading Chapter of the National Historical Railway Society.

     12/06        Mt. Laurel Brass
    Mt. Laurel Brass is a “Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill” favorite!  This seven piece brass ensemble, who specialize in seasonal music; has been entertaining Berks County for over 30 years.
    12/07       Jameson Sisters
    Relish the Celtic sounds of voices, mandolin and harp in a musical journey as Ellen Tepper and Terry Kane trace the origins of Christmas Carols through a thousand years.

    12/08       Miss Maggie & Santa's Elves
     Shows at 1:15, 2:15, & 3:15 P.M.
    Peggy Gernerd brings a special “Miss Maggie Holiday Program” to our stage, featuring many original favorites with well-known (and some not so well-known) Christmas songs played on the guitar and ukelele.  Joining Miss Maggie is everyone’s favorite puppet, Spaghetti Head Fred for a special appearance.  Miss Maggie Sings! shows involve audience participation and fun for the whole family!
    12/08       After Hours
    Bring the kids, for a fun night with the whole family.  This 4-Piece band will entertain you with traditional Christmas music, and have you singing along!   A great way to get into the holiday spirit. 


      Jill Haley and Susan McDevitt
    Enjoy an evening of Holiday Melodies on oboe, violin and piano.  There will be familiar tunes as well as some less known, but beautiful classical arrangements.  Warm up by our fireplace, listening to the music from these first-rate musicians.
    12/12    Polished Brass
     Polished Brass quintet has been together for over 25 years, and features several musicians from the Ringgold Band.  The ensemble performs a wide variety of brass music, ranging from the classics to contemporary.  Sing along or just sit back and enjoy.
     12/13        Neil Wright Trio
     Neil Wright Band features one of the area’s most popular performers: Neil Wright, on saxophone, keyboard and vocals, accompanied by Diana Dupre on vocals and Roger Harris on guitar. This dynamic trio will be the perfect jazzy opening for “Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill.
     12/14        East Side Dave & the Mountain Folk Band - Cancelled due to inclement weather.
     A Mountain Folk Christmas” with award-winning singer/songwriter/producer “East Side” Dave Kline and members of his evergreen and ever-popular Mountain Folk Band - Celebrate the season with holiday and traditional mountain music through singing, Appalachian Mountain instruments, and audience participation songs.  Dave is the host of the weekly Mountain Folk radio show on WEEU on Sunday mornings from 9 to 10 a.m. and writer of the weekly Mountain Folklore column in Berks Country magazine, published every Wednesday as a part of the Reading Eagle newspaper. 
     12/15        Beverly McDevitt & Michael Trach
    Beverly & Michael bring their instrumental style of traditional and classic carols, as well as fun Christmas songs to Holiday Lights at Gring’s Mill.  The pair features Beverly on piano accompanied by Michael on sax. 
    12/18        Shades of Silver
     Shades of Silver with Scot Silver and the Jazz Guise, is the perfect blend of Jazz, Latin, Rock and Funk is sure to appeal to everyone in the audience.  This special concert will feature all holiday music, but with some twists.  You can expect traditional classics to contemporary favorites.  Music will range from Mel Torme to Brenda Lee to Chuck Berry to Bruce Springsteen, all holiday tunes.
     12/19        Pagoda Brass
     The Pagoda Brass is a traditional brass quintet whose name reflects the local icon above the city.  Many of the musicians are also members of the Ringgold Band: Patrick Boggs, Dennis Coldren, Randy Ream, Bruce Schonour, and Dewey Freeman.  Extend the season with some great holiday music! 
     12/20       Steve Pullara and the Cool Beans Band
     Have a “Holiday Musical Blast” with “Steve Pullara and The Cool Beans Band,” who have grown from being local Philly performers to a national award winning act.  Their performances are in demand, spirited, engaging and zany!  A good time will be had by all!  For band info and free downloads, plus cool MP3 and iPOD player info go to:
     12/21       Ken Gehret and Irish Mist
     Ken Gehret & Irish Mist is based in Reading, and performs both locally and regionally featuring Ken and friends, Alan Chelius and Henry Koretzky.  They play a full spectrum of Celtic music: traditional, modern, original and seasonal favorites for the holidays.
    12/22        Maria Damore & Ken Bagenstose
     Maria Damore and Ken Bagenstose treat you to an evening of holiday entertainment with Maria on vocals, and Ken on guitar, keyboard and vocals.  Their renditions of both traditional and popular holiday songs and carols will instantly put you in the holiday spirit.
     12/26        Jurkiewicz Family Strings
     Not ready for the end of Christmas music?  Enjoy some elegant chamber music, with this talented family.  Mercedes Jurkiewicz plays cello in the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, is joined by her three musical children. 
     12/27        Maggie Spike
    Berks Co. alternative folk singer songwriters are joined by Cathy Sauber to present a memorable evening of music from the British Isles. Featuring such ethnic instruments as the Irish Bouzouki, Celtic Harp, Bodhran, Frame Drum, Shruti Box and Irish Whistle, they will present both original and traditional music sure to get you singing along & tapping your toes!” 
     12/28        When Karma Was King
    When Karma was King features the songwriting and performance duo of Peter Errich and Keith Knowles. Peter and Keith have been co-writing and performing with each other since 2000.  The Indie Rock band includes Peter Errich on lead vocals and guitar, Keith Knowles on bass and vocals, with Derek Shanely on keyboard, piano, and Bryan Herr on drums, percussion.  They will help to close out Holiday Lights in karmic style!
     12/29        Toad Creek Duo
    Join Keith Brintzenhoff and Mike Hertzog for some old-timey, folk, country, gospel, bluegrass and hoedown music, along with some entertaining banter.  Keith is an expert on Pennsylvania German music, instruments, and folklore.  He plays a variety of string instruments, tells some of the world's best stories and jokes, that will have you laughing in the New Year.
