ADULT DAY CARE
Adult Day Care is a program of structured activities provided to functionally disabled older adults who live in the community. It provides a stable, protected environment and activities to adults who are cognitively impaired with degenerative conditions such as Alzheimer’s Disease or who are severely physically disabled, and are not capable of full time independent living. This program helps to maintain or improve the client’s level of functioning and offers respite to family caregivers. Adult Day Care services are provided in state-licensed, non-residential facilities or settings.
