DIAKON VOLUNTEER HOME CARE

Diakon Volunteer Home Care (DVHC) provides short-term/intermittent help to seniors during critical times in their lives.  Caring, trained volunteers lend helping hands.  All services are provided free of charge to the client.  Volunteers help seniors with companionship through visitors or telephone calls, grocery shopping, meal preparation in the client's home, household or outdoor chores and minor household repair, and transportation to medical appointments.  Volunteers receive training, ongoing support and mileage reimbursement.  Because services are offered at no cost to the individual, Diakon Volunteer Home Care relies on the generosity of donors to make its ministry possible.  Volunteer Home Care serves the entire Greater Berks area.
