The Constables of Berks County work together with local law enforcement officials in fighting crime. Our Constables are locally elected officials who provide vital services to Berks County and their local community. Services include prisoner transport, warrant service and civil process service. Professional service is achieved through ongoing training administered by the PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

relates to the Common Pleas and MDJ Courts.
Magisterial District Courts will be closed
at a minimum to the public through
June 1, 2020. Please check the Berks

Constable Firearms Training at
Cumru Township Gun Range
Constables Recertified with Tasers
A training and recertification class was held in November for Constables. Berks Constables were recertified in the proper use and deployment of the Taser to decrease injuries to the offender and the officer. The class was held at the Ganster Karate studio and was sponsored by the Pa State Constables local Chapter #6
