Armando Guerrero-Fabian, age 22
On December 11, 2017, the Berks County District Attorney's Child Abuse Detectives received a ChildLine report of suspected child abuse and neglect to a teenage female victim. Subsequently, detectives immediately initiated an investigation into the allegations.
During the investigation, a forensic interview was conducted at the Children's Alliance Center. The victim disclosed that Armando Guerrero-Fabian, the defendant, has been sexually assaulting her since she was 14 years of age. The victim is currently 15 years old. The defendant is related to the victim and was residing in the victim's residence during the course of the sexual assaults.
Detectives learned that the sexual assaults occurred approximately one time per week and took place in the victim's bedroom or in her family's living room.
On February 14, 2018, detectives received a warrant of arrest from Magisterial District Judge Tonya Butler on the charges of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse; Rape; Aggravated Indecent Assault; Sexual Assault; Corruption of Minors; and Indecent Assault. The defendant was arrested at his place of employment. The defendant was arraigned and bail was set at $75,000. He is currently incarcerated at Berks County Jail awaiting further court action.
