The project will entail the full-scale rehabilitation and strengthening of the historic asset by removing the timber barn, augmenting the substructure with steel I-beams, completely rehabilitating or replacing the timber elements where necessary and reassembling the bridge. The project is currently completed with all design-phase task and is undergoing final Federal and State audits prior to bidding. This project is currently scheduled to be let for bids via PennDOT's ECMS system in October 2018, with construction commencing in Spring 2019.
