About Department The Office of Human Services is to provide comprehensive and coordinated services in the following areas: Adult Services, Aging, Children & Youth, Drug & Alcohol, Homeless Assistance, and Community Mental Health/Mental Retardation Programs. The office also provides funding for local food assistance.

Goals & Objectives It is the goal of the Department of Human Services to develop an organizational structure for the consolidation of the County's human service programs into a coordinated delivery system and to maintain its current level of services and continue to provide for the Human Services Development Fund, Homeless Assistance Program, Family Center Grant, Fatherhood Initiative, Temporary Emergency Food Assistance Program, and The Medical Assistance Program.
