Hamburg Borough Community Park
Under the direction of conductor Will Rapp, the orchestra presents “America The Beautiful: A Salute to Our Country.”  The cornerstone work for this concert will feature guest soloist Jill Haley and her “National Park Landscapes Suite,” a collection of 4 pieces written to celebrate the National Parks centennial anniversary.  Members of the Hamburg Area High School Band and Orchestra will be performing alongside members of the Reading Pops Orchestra in the side-by-side portion of the concert. The Reading Pops Orchestra will also present a variety of selections paying tribute to American Music, including marches and Broadway favorites. www.readingpops.com  Rain Location: Hamburg High School.  FREE concert.

Take a ragtag group of actors, a wandering friar, and add a young William Shakespeare to the mix, and you have one whirlwind, interactive evening for the young and the young at heart. Young "Billy" takes us through the ideas of plays he'd like to write one day: some funny, some sad, and some full of awesome swordfights! A light-hearted, engaging introduction to Shakespeare's plays, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and Richard III.  No Rain date.  Free program.

Peter Errich is an accomplished singer/songwriter who has been writing, recording and performing original music since 1996.  Released in 2015, his first solo record, The Lost and Found, was a collection of songs written with longtime collaborators Todd Zarzecki and Keith Knowles.  In December 2016, Peter released his second record entitled Beneath The Sun.  www.PeterErrich.com.  No rain date.  $5 per car.
