Bring your family & friends to Gring's Mill, and walk through the illuminated park and see our light displays and decorations. Sit in the upper level of the barn by the fireplace and enjoy lively entertainment each night from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Kids will look forward to visiting Santa and telling him their wish list.

They will also like watching the trains wind their way through the miniature town in the former Generating Station on the bridge. Built and operated by members of the Pottstown & Reading Chapter of the National Historical Railway Society.

Mt. Laurel Brass is a “Holiday Lights’ at Gring’s Mill” favorite! This seven piece brass ensemble, who specialize in seasonal music; has been entertaining Berks County for over 30 years.

Bring the kids, for a fun night with the whole family. This 4-Piece band will entertain you with traditional Christmas music, and have you singing along. A great way to get into the holiday spirit.

Damon's been performing covers, classics and originals for live audiences on 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars for many years in pubs, restaurants, weddings and events. Debi Irene Wahl is a mother of three, wife of one singing music for all ages.  Hoping for a White Christmas or prefer just Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree?  Perhaps you are in a sentimental mood thinking I'll Be Home For Christmas or speeding along on a Sleigh Ride?  Enjoy Debi's upbeat interaction with the audience, perhaps a child or two will want to become part of the show with Christmas bells & whistles.  Debi will engage people of all ages, or she will just force one of her four grandchildren help!  So God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen as Berks County Parks and Recreation Department wishes, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas"  @ Holiday Lights, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m., December 17, 2014 at Gring's Mill.

   

12/18     The Wallace Brothers Band 
The Wallace Brothers Band are putting the 'South' back into South Philadelphia.  Two twin brothers, Zachary and Colby Wallace and their Vietnamese cohort, Khoa 'Lucky' Pham are not who you might expect to be writing and performing songs about sleeping in a car, being broke and happy, love so strong it hurts, traveling the world, and spending the night in the pen, but the band sure enough does live the life they sing about. Their wanderlust and love of all forms of music can be heard in their music and lyrics.  Formed in 2007 through serendipitous circumstances, The Wallace Brothers Band performs roughly 200 shows per year and are equally as capable crooning in bar rooms as they are headlining festivals.
 
 
12/19    Brass Menagerie
Enjoy traditional seasonal music with this Berks County based brass sextet. A night sure to get you in the holiday spirit! Playing together for over 15 years, the Brass Menagerie is a REading based brass sextet offering a mix of traditional and "less traditional" holiday favorites for your listening enjoyment. Members are Chuck Runkle, Thurman Kremser, Jr.., Bryan Synder, Dr. Thomas Shugar, David Pieffer, and Doug Werner. A night that is sure to get you in the holiday spirit. BryanSnyder@comcast.net.

Enjoy new and used country music with Haley Sheeler. Her original songs, which she defines as alternative folk, have been inspired by notable singer/ songwriters of the 1960’s and 70’s. 12/28      Hex Hollow Rounders 
Hex Hollow Rounders play classic bluegrass music in the style of Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs, as well as their own humorous originals about life in Berks County. They feature a superb acoustic blend of guitar, mandolin, banjo, dobro, bass, and harmonica. Originally formed to back legendary fiddler Vassar Clements on his bluegrass set at Hexfest, they continue to play festivals throughout eastern Pennsylvania and beyond.
