Later on, they may fly their kite in the Sled Kite Contests to win a prize! Sled Kite contest divisions include: "Most Colorful", "Funniest", "Most Imaginative", "Highest Flying" and "Best Overall". Kite contest registration begins at 12:00 p.m., contests begin at 2:30 p.m. The Newspaper Kite Division is a contest in which eligible entries are made almost entirely of newspaper. Kites must be made from newspaper and must be able to fly. We look forward to seeing what shapes & sizes will appear in the sky this year!
Kites, banners and more will line the Professional Kiters Field and will be judged before the end of the day.
Professional kiters are encouraged to bring their homemade kites an enter them in the afternoon contest, for the following divisions.
