The sky above the Berks County Recreation Facility will be filled with brilliant colors and a variety of shapes & creatures, as all levels of kiters, from beginners to professionals, enjoy a festival celebrating the high-flying fascination of kiting.

Watch exciting demonstration by our hosts the Sky Pilots Kite Club and other experienced kiters as they show off their skills and kite creations. Throughout the day, they will demonstrate different types of kites in the air and on the ground.

Children of all ages can join in the fun as they learn to make their very own kite and decorate it in the Sled Kite Workshop held throughout the day. Later on, they may fly their kite in the Sled Kite Contests to win a prize!
