Using workplace information completed on the Census 2000 'Long-Form' (1-in-6 households), the Census Bureau is able to show commuting patterns between counties.  The attached table shows the top-20 counties where:

 

      -->Workers who live in Berks commute to; and

      -->Workers who live outside of Berks come from.

The maps created from these data graphically depict those commuting patterns between Berks and our neighboring counties.

 

Since this information is from a statistical sample, there is a small margin of error within the data.  The purpose is to look at overall trends in the information.
