Q: "How do we get on your bidders' list?"

A: All Request For Proposals (RFPs) and Invitation To Bids (ITBs) are advertised in the Reading Newspaper and published in this web site. Bidders can sign up on the County's website to receive e-alerts, which send an email notification to the end user party that an RFP or ITB has been posted in which it provides a direct link to the County's website so that it can be downloaded. In addition it provides potential proposers and bidders with notification of postings of addendums/amendments to RFPs and ITBs. Q: "Someone from County department X (i.e. a department other than Purchasing), told me to complete this job. Now that I've completed the work, how do I go about receiving payment?"

A: Vendors who provide goods or perform services without first obtaining evidence of proper purchase authorization (a contract or a purchase order) run the risk of not being paid.
