IMPORTANT NOTICES:
The Berks County Treasurer’s Office sent the 2021 Real Estate tax bills to the post office on Feb. 23 to be mailed to recipients. Due to the reported delays with the U.S. Postal Service throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the treasurer’s office sent the bills earlier than in previous years and wants to make the public aware of important information regarding the 2021 Real Estate tax bills. For more information, see the full
press release.
The 2021 Real Estate Tax Bills were sent to the owners of all Berks County properties, including tax-exempt properties, as part of the Treasurer's Office's transition to a new system. The bills for exempt properties indicate that no amount is due for that property. The bills were sent to all properties to allow property owners to review and confirm their data is correct within the new system. If the information is not correct, the property owner should contact the Treasurer's Office at
treasurer@countyofberks.com or call (610) 478-6640, ext. 5648. For more information, see the full
press release and/or
graphic.
