Title

How to Build a Rain Garden

Location

Heritage Center

Description

Rain gardens are gardens that collect and hold rainwater during storms.  They are innovative, beautiful and increasingly popular runoff control devices.  Featuring plants that thrive in moist conditions, rain gardens allow runoff to filter slowly into soil, and even attract birds and butterflies.  BCP&RD Trails Manager Brendan Lederer will explain how to build a rain garden and provide you with all the information you need to go home and get started!
