purchased on December 14, 1945, for $42,000, by a group known as the Seven=
Adventist Allegheny Conference Committee.=

Comments from our Township representatives were warmly received by conference guests. Police Chief Franke expressed his appreciation of seeing religion bind the community together, saying that “. . deal= ing with people of faith means dealing with less crime.” and Township Supervisor, Rose Bau= man, not only expressed her admiration for the schools faith based approach to raising strong leaders but she also thanked the group for the many years o= f music that the surrounding area enjoys during the Academy’s annual confere= nces, saying “It sounds as if the Lord has opened the heavens and angels a= re serenading the community.”
With the challenges that today’s society holds for our youth, lets join together to celebrate and support this institution for its positive contribution to our Township and its pride in developing our successful le= aders of tomorrow!
