***Burn Ban Lifted***

The Earl Township Supervisors have lifted the burn ban in Earl Township. The recent rains have improved conditions to allow open burning, but please remember to always use caution when burning.
Try to burn in a barrel or pit away from any structure and clear an area of no less than 10 feet of any dead vegetation or leaf litter. If you have a large volume of yard waste, please burn it in moderation and again, away from any structures. Light a small pile and add waste as the pile burns down. Please do not burn on windy or dry days, a warm day with low humidity and a light breeze can dry out dead or dying ground cover very quickly and elevate the risk of rapidly expanding fires.

The fire company has enrolled as a participant in the Redner’s Save-A-Tape program. Redner’s offers this program for non-profit organizations, such as ourselves, with no costs incurred by the customer or organization. |
