Our thoughts a prayers are with the Deputy Chief Ronnie "Moose" Wentzel of the Reading Fire Dept. and his Family & Friends as he begins the hardest battle of his life. "Moose" has been recently diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor. He is currently at the Reading Hospital, where he has been since Friday. We ask anyone and everyone to stop by www.ReadingPaFire.com to show your support for Deputy Chief "Moose"
2012 Election Results

The Fire Company held its yearly election of officers on Tuesday, December 13th and is happy to report that all of our officers will remain the same for the next year. We look forward to another successful year in 2012!
Money Tickets Available

currently has a $5.00 money ticket available for purchase. Prizes range from $5.00 to $100.00 with jackpot prizes ranging from $5.00 to $500.00. Ticket drawing to be held in February. Stop by Monday nights between 6:30 p.m. & 9:00 p.m. to purchase your ticket, or see one of our members. Thanks!!
Starting January 1st, 2012 the Bally Fire Company, Volunteer Barto Fire Company and the Keystone Fire Company of Bechtelsville will officially merge to form the Eastern Berks Fire Department! We wish them luck on their new venture as one department and look forward to working with you!

The fire company has enrolled as a participant in the Redner’s Save-A-Tape program. Redner’s offers this program for non-profit organizations, such as ourselves, with no costs incurred by the customer or organization. |
