Yard waste will be collected every Tuesday from March 22nd through December 6th during 2016. Borough residents and property owners are encouraged to put all of their yard waste out for collection in open trash containers and/or biodegradable brown paper bags - this keeps the borough landfill costs down and is better for the environment as these materials can be "recycled" as they are used to make gardening/farming mulch! There is no limit to the amount of yard waste one can put out - NO plastic trash bags please. Acceptable yard waste material includes grass clippings, weeds, bushes/hedge trimmings - small branches and bushes can be put out and bundled together if they are no longer than 4 feet and weigh no more than 40 pounds. Any questions? Contact the Borough at, 610-777-7327 or Eagle Disposal at 717-355-9560.
