The Borough of Kenhorst has an open seat on the Zoning Hearing Board (from 1/1/2018 to 12/31/2018). The Zoning Hearing Board meets as needed during the year. In addition, there are two open seats on the Municipal Authority - one 1-year term (from 1/1/2018 to 12/31/2018) and one 2-year term (from 1/1/2018 to 12/31/2019). The Municipal Authority is newly reinstated and handles the administration of the Borough’s sanitary sewer and stormwater systems and park. You must be a resident of the Borough of Kenhorst to serve on any of these Boards. Please send a letter of interest to the Borough Manager by January 31, 2018.
ALVERNIA STUDENTS CAN HELP SHOVEL WITH SNOW PATROL
Alvernia University’s Good Neighbor Committee is once again heading up the Snow Patrol. Students will come and shovel walkways and driveways on days when school is in session and classes are canceled for the day due to weather. If you are interested in this service, please contact Tracy Hine by phone at 610.796.8211 or via email at: tracy.hine@alvernia.edu . She will need your name, address and telephone number. Please also let her know if you have a shovel available for the student to use. Once your name is on the list and there is a snow day where school is in session, but classes are canceled, a student will contact you by phone to let you know when to expect them. Any questions or concerns, please contact Ms. Hine at Alvernia.
