UPCOMING PENNDOT BRIDGE WORK / TRAFFIC DETOUR
Kinsley Construction, Inc. has been contracted by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to reconstruct the bridge over Angelica Creek on Route 724 located east of the Route 724 (Philadelphia Avenue)/Route 625 (New Holland Road) intersection at the Cumru Township/Kenhorst Borough line. The bridge will be reconstructed in two phases and while in construction, the Eastbound Route 724 traffic will be detoured. The Eastbound Detour Plan moves traffic north on Route 625 (New Holland Road) to North on Lancaster Avenue (towards Reading) and South (right turn) on Morgantown Road (Route 10) to East on Route 724. The detour is planned to be implemented on or after Tuesday, March 21, 2017 and construction is to expected to be completed September 25, 2017.
