Kenhorst Vol. Fire Co. Volunteers
Berks County > Municipalities > Borough of Kenhorst

The Kenhorst Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 has been the source of the fire protection for the Borough of Kenhorst since 1932. The Fire Company consists of all volunteers, and do not receive any compensation for their time and effort, 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. To continue the level of service the Borough has come to expect, we are in need of more volunteers that live within the community to serve and protect the residents and property in our Borough. Presently there are very few of our active members who live in the Borough. We know one of the reasons for the lack of volunteers in our community, at any level, is a time factor based decision. We encourage anyone interested, regardless of your work schedule or your time availability, to contact Chief Roger Weidenheimer at 610-775-1914.
