Tax Collector Hours and Information

The Tax Collector's Office is located on the Liberty Avenue side at the Kenhorst Borough Municipal Building, located at 339 S. Kenhorst Blvd., in Kenhorst, PA  19607.  Denice Carroll is the current Tax Collector for Kenhorst Borough.  Effective January 1, 2017, the Tax Collector will no longer accept cash for payment. Taxes can be paid with check or money order. There will be a $40.00 charge for all returned checks.


2017 Tax Collection Office Hours

JULY and AUGUST: TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS , 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM    FRIDAYS, 9:30 AM - NOON

SPECIAL Saturday Hours:  July 29th and August 26th - 9:30 AM to NOON.
 

Closed for vacation July 5th, and August 15th through August 18th.

All 2015 Borough/County & School Real Estate Tax Bills not paid by December 31, 2017 will be turned over to the Berks County Tax Claim Bureau for collection.  Questions regarding  unpaid 2017 real estate taxes should be directed to the Tax Claim Bureau at (610) 478-6625.  
 
All 2017 Per Capita Tax bills not paid by December 31, 2017, will be turned over to GH Harris Associates for collection.  Questions regarding unpaid 2017 per capita taxes should be directed to GH Harris at (570) 639-5005.
 
If the Borough Office is closed, Tax payments may be dropped into the Tax Collector's Drop Box located next to the side door on Liberty Avenue.
