You're invited to Rittenhouse Village at Muhlenberg for a "Grab & Go" lunch. Bring an unwrapped gift to donate to Berks County Toys for Tots and help bring to a child in need. A delicious chef-prepared lunch will be waiting for you to "Grab & Go."

Sunday, December 3rd - 24th Annual Christmas Advent Vespers Concert

Holy Guardian Angels Church will conduct its 24th annual Christmas Advent Vespers Concert on Sunday, December 3rd, at 4 pm, in the church. The choir is acclaimed for its Vespers program performed during the Advent season.  The music selections that will grace the concert will be performed by the members of the HGA Choir. Instrumental music will be provided by Light Wind. Enjoy our Parish Choir, under the direction of Susan Swavely, accompanied by organist, Judith Fehr. What a wonderful way to begin this season with an afternoon of sacred music and liturgical prayer. Join us at 3121 Kutztown Road, Hyde Park.

10AM to 3:30PM

Fall Fun for Everyone!

Regular Admission: $5.00 for any child, teen or adult who will be PARTICIPATING in any of the activities, except for the psychic gallery.

Psychic Gallery Admission: $10.00 for anyone wishing to attend the psychic gallery with Willowearth only.

Combo Admission: $10.00 includes all activities for the day + admission to the psychic gallery.

If a parent is accompanying their child(ren), and NOT participating-- They are FREE.

Under two are FREE.

10am - Noon Face painting, "hay bale" maze, kiddie craft and story times available.

11am Trunk-or-Treat for kids under 10.

11am - 2pm Hit the Potato Coop food truck for lunch and their signature fresh cut fries! A portion of the money from your food purchases are being generously donated by Potato Coop to the library! Potato Coop will be open to the community, so feel free to grab your lunch at the truck even if you cannot attend the day's festivities. #cravinthecoop!

12pm Costume Contest for kids under 10 and prize awarded for the best trunk decorating in the Trunk-or-Treat!

1pm Adults can join the fun by doing a fun Fall Craft inside the library. Please register for this craft by calling (610)929-0589.

1pm Ages 10+ undead are welcome to dress the part and participate in a Zombies vs. Vampires capture the prize game.

2pm Costume Contest for ages 10+. Come dressed as a zombie or vampire and reap the rewards!

2:30pm Not-so-spooky family movie time.

2:30 - 3:30pm Psychic gallery with local medium, Willowearth.​

THE MONARCH BUTTERFLY'S chances for survival is POOR. It migrates from Mexico to the US Corn belt. This requires stamina and power against the elements. Unfortunately, 90% of the world’s population has perished. Milkweed for its larvae to survive is being killed by Roundup​® herbicides. 

You can help by planting milkweed and other native plants that attract the monarchs (golden rod and aster) to name a few. In addition, you can add a PUDDLER to your yard. You can Google for help to understand how the best way to handle getting water for the butterflies to survive and hopefully multiply. Scroll down until you find “puddler for a butterfly." Please do your part to help with the conservation and avoid their extension.
