THE MONARCH BUTTERFLY'S chances for survival is POOR. It migrates from Mexico to the US Corn belt. This requires stamina and power against the elements. Unfortunately, 90% of the world’s population has perished. Milkweed for its larvae to survive is being killed by Roundup® herbicides.

You can help by planting milkweed and other native plants that attract the monarchs (golden rod and aster) to name a few. In addition, you can add a PUDDLER to your yard. You can Google for help to understand how the best way to handle getting water for the butterflies to survive and hopefully multiply. Scroll down until you find “puddler for a butterfly." Please do your part to help with the conservation and avoid their extension.

Thank you! If you have any questions, feel free to contact Barbara Sensenig at 610-929-2673.
