Activities are geared around a
different theme weekly and there is a field
trip each week except for the first
week. Field trips include skating,
bowling, movies and other fun activities. A

by the School District’s Summer
Food Service program at each site.
NEW THIS SUMMER!
We are proud to offer you
and your child a unique summer
learning opportunity that was originally created by Matt Hathaway, 4th grade
teacher in the Exeter School
Muhlenberg Township’s Teachers in the Parks program is designed to
meet the specific learning needs of
our kids. All rising
1st - 6th graders for the 2019-20 school year are eligible for this program, which will meet at the Laureldale Playground over the summer to receive hands-on instruction from highly qualified teachers. All lessons align with the Muhlenberg School District’s curriculum, designed to be fun, and aim to bridge the
academic summer gap between grade levels. The teacher in charge of your child’s small summer park group will custom design the lessons to met your child’s needs. We look forward to working with you this summer at Teachers in the Parks! Please fill out a registration form at the Township Building or online. There are a limited number of spots available for
this free program.
