The stated purpose of the Robeson Township Board of Parks and Recreation is "to provide leadership in coordinating all activites of a recreation nature in the Township to obtain a maximum benefit for the citizens of this Township". This board is attempting to provide adequate ares for recreation throughout the Township. This is being done through public parks, schools, church related playgrounds, and other facilities.

The Parks and Recreation Board sponsors a summer program at the Gibraltar Playground each year. Recent upgrades to the Gibraltar Playground include new playground equipment, picnic tables, and building improvements.
