In 2005, the Borough implemented a borough wide street sweeping operation.  During this program, individual streets will be posted and vehicles will be required to be removed from these streets between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Only one side of a street (the odd number or the even number) will be swept on a given day.

Facts to remember:

• The program will begin on Monday, April 14, 2008
• Streets will be posted by 4:00 p.m. the day prior to being swept.  Vehicles must be removed from the posted streets prior to 7:00 a.m. the next day.  Streets posted on Friday will be cleaned the following Monday.  Parking is permitted on Saturday and Sunday.
• Sweeping will take place as the weather permits.  If a street cannot be swept due to rain, the signs will be kept in place and the parking ban will be in force the following day.
• The program is expected to last 2 to 3 weeks.

Upon completion of this program, the Borough will continue with the normal intermittent sweeping for the remainder of the year.
