The Borough of Sinking Spring has two Playgrounds. The main playground is located at 200 Evans Avenue and is staffed by one playground supervisor, and four assistant playground leaders. The hours of operation are: 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. Monday thru Friday, and from 6 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Monday thru Thursday. There is plenty of equipment, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball, a pavilion, restrooms and lots of shade to go with all the fun.
The second playground is located at the intersections of Brookfield Avenue and Brook Hollow Drive and is staffed by one playground supervisor. The hours of operation are 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. Monday thru Friday, and from 6 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Monday thru Thursday. There is plenty of equipment, a basketball court, restrooms and a new pavilion.
The first day of Playground is Wednesday, June 13, 2012 and the last day will be August 8, 2012. The children participate in many activities and crafts. They also go on many field trips throughout the summer. All in all, it is a great place to spend the summer. So please join us and register your children at the Sinking Spring Playground. There is a fee of $25.00 per child for all residents and a fee of $60.00 per child for non-residents. The fee includes a playground t-shirt.
