Well, we’re all itching to get back into the swing of things at the library! We are not yet sure of our opening date. Please keep an eye out for postings at the library, post office, and bank in town. The hours of operation will be the same as last year, Monday and Wednesday 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you would like to volunteer to help, please give us a call. The more volunteers we have, the more hours we can be open for everyone to enjoy our facility. We have five internet connected computers for public use along with a very nice selection of books, movies, and cds. There is a children’s corner where kiddies can come in and color and just hang out.

Saturday, May 28, 2016, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Our Book Sale is always held the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.

Come see us at the Shartlesville Park, on N 4th Street in Shartlesville.

As always, we will have a fantastic selection of hard copy and paperback books for your reading pleasure, along with magazines, movies and treasures. Homemade soup, barbeque sandwiches, hot dogs, drinks and baked items will also be available for purchase. Rent a table to display your wares: $10.00 for an inside table, $5.00 for an outside table. Please call Peggy or Diane for more information. Come and spend the day with us!

Please plan to come and visit us on Saturday, June 11, 2016, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, for our OPEN HOUSE. We will be serving refreshments, Local author Sharon Wagner Wells will be with us with a variety of her children’s books.

If you have books that need a new home, please think about bringing them to the library during normal operating hours. We appreciate all donations!

Interested in volunteering a few hours a week at the library? Please call Peggy Seitzinger at 610.488.1984 or Diane Ross at 610.488.7422.

Thank you for your continued support !
