SHARTLESVILLE COMMUNITY LIBRARY

THE WINTER COAT AND CLOTHING DRIVE was held at Friedens Church on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 9am to 12 noon. Thank you to all that donated clothing and helped out, and thank you to Dunkin Donuts for supplying the coffee and doughnuts, which they do every year.

Did someone mention our fall Craft and Vendor Show? Our 5th Annual Holiday Craft and Vendor Show was held at Friedens Church in the Great Room, Saturday, November 5, 2016. We had a really great time with a terrific group of skilled craftsmen, local small business owners and direct sale companies. We hope you will stop by next year and do your Holiday Shopping with us again! Please watch for the date in future newsletters.

Next year’s Books and Bargains Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the park over the Memorial Day weekend. As always, we will have a nice selection of books, movies and yard sale items for you to purchase. Please plan on spending the morning with us and stay for lunch. BBQ, hot dogs and soup are just a few items that will be on our menu.

The Shartlesville Community Library is open: Monday and Wednesday 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm; and Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

We will be closing for the winter after Saturday, November 26, 2016 and will reopen Monday, March 6, 2017.

We are located at 51 N 5th Street, between the township municipal building and the park. Look for our new banners!

We have five internet connected computers for public use along with a very nice selection of books, movies, and cds. There is a children’s corner where kiddies can come in and color, play with blocks or just hang out. Stop in and say HI !

If you have books that need a new home, please think about bringing them to the library during normal operating hours. We appreciate all donations!

Are you interested in getting involved with the library or volunteering a few hours a week? The more volunteers we have, the more hours we can be open for everyone to enjoy our facility. Please call Peggy Seitzinger at 610.488.1984 or Diane Ross at 610.488.7422. Thank you for your continued support! Shartlesville Community Library Board and Volunteers
