Dear Fellow Citizens,
Well, the snow has finally come and what an impact it has made. Hopefully, by the time this reaches you, the snow will be melted.
With spring approaching, that means warmer weather, so be cautious when going out. Watch for other pedestrians and children who are out. Also, be advised of our ordinances. Make sure all pets are on leashes and that you clean up after them. We also have a weed ordinance, so as you prep the yards and gardens, make sure you are cutting those weeds down. All ordinances that are not followed will be issued a citation for the violation. If you are uncertain of the ordinances, you may view them at the Borough Hall.
Please fill out the form that is attached to the Police Report in the Spring Newsletter. Help us fight crime in our town, with a neighborhood crime watch. If you're interested in taking part, fill out the form and you will be contacted. I would like to send a special thank you out to our patrolmen and sergeant for stepping up during our search for a new police chief. I suggest all citizens to take time to meet our local officers for community policing is what we strive for.
If there is anything that you need or have any questions, please feel free to contact me at anytime. As always remember to support our local organizations and businesses during our busy summer months.
Respectfully,
Jennifer E. Rose
