The Borough was unique in that the Police Department maintained its own Communications Center and was open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provided full police services to the Borough of Wyomissing.  In 2010 our dispatch center received and delivered over 52,000 telephone calls.  The Communications Center was officially closed on December 31, 2010 after more than 40 years of service.
