Another unique feature to the Borough is that it is served by 2 separate school districts.  The Wyomissing Area School District serves the areas of the Borough south of the railroad tracks and the Wyomissing Hills area.  The Wilson School District serves all other areas north of the railroad, including Berkshire Heights and Greenwood Mall.

The Berks-Lehigh Campus of the Pennsylvania State University is just north of the Borough in Spring Township.
