BOROUGH OF WYOMISSING, BERKS COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA

 

RESOLUTION NO. 2009-11

 

A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF WYOMISSING ESTABLISHING A FEE FOR PEDDLING AND SOLICITING LICENSES

 

            WHEREAS, the Code of the Borough of Wyomissing, Chapter 13, Section 202, provides for the Borough Council to establish a peddling and soliciting license fee; and

            WHEREAS, Borough Council desires to establish such fee in the amount of $60.00, which fairly represents the administrative and supervisory costs associated with the transient retail business conducted by peddlers and solicitors in the Borough of Wyomissing; and

 

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough of Wyomissing, that the fee for a peddling and soliciting licenses shall be in the amount of $60.00.

 

            FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any provision, sentence, clause, section, or part of this Resolution shall for any reason be found to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, such determination shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, sentences, clauses, sections, or parts of this Resolution, and it is hereby declared to be the intent of the Borough Council of the Borough of Wyomissing that this Resolution would have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid provision, sentence, clause, section or part not been included herein.

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions inconsistent with this Resolution are hereby superseded.

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be effective immediately.

 

            IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Council of the Borough of Wyomissing has adopted this Resolution in lawful session this ____ day of ______ 2009.
