Berks County 250th Anniversary Commission presents:

 

 

Sitting high atop the courthouse, the "Goddess of Liberty" has been a symbol of Berks County for many years.  Cast in bronze, it measures 15-1/2" high.  The statue is copyrighted by the commission who has sole right to the statue.

 

Each piece is signed and dated by famed sculpture, Angelo DiMario from Sicily.  Other notable sculptures he has done include: Penn State University icons - the Coach Joe Paterno figure and the Nittany Lion and Kutztown University's Golden Bear mascot.
