Be advised: Due to major construction on the Penn Street bridge, the westbound US 422 to Penn Street ramp is closed.  Anticipated traffic delays are to be expected on and around the Penn Street Bridge.  Please plan accordingly.  For more information regarding traffic patterns, please visit www.readingbridges.net.   
 

Proper Attire is required for jury duty; no shorts, no halter-tops or tank tops allowed.

  

Please bring your PARKING TICKET with you for validation during check-in. Parking is available in the following garages:

  • Reed & Court Street garage

  • Poplar & Walnut Street garage

Small vans & SUV's should park in the Poplar & Walnut street garage. Only oversized vehicles should park in the 7th & Penn non-gated/metered lot. Enter on 7th Street. Please bring your license plate number with you when parking on this open lot. Thank you.

 In the event of inclement weather, please regularly check the county main website at www.countyofberks.com for updates on any delay or closure of the Courthouse/Services Center buildings.  Notification will be distributed to all County media, including WFMZ, WRAW, Y102, WIOV, Reading Eagle and BCTV. 
 
 If there is a delay, report at the delayed opening time.  If the Courthouse and Services Center are closed, do not report for jury duty.
