STREET SWEEPING STARTS MAY 29th
Kenhorst will conduct street sweeping activities in the Borough during the last week of May. Sweeping will occur next Tuesday and Wednesday (the 29th and 30th) on the west side of the Borough, between New Holland Road and Lancaster Avenue. Sweeping will occur on the east side of the Borough, Thursday and Friday (May 31st and June 1st), between New Holland Road and Angelica Creek. If the sweeper makes a pass on your street before the “No Parking” signs are posted, please note that they will return to complete the job after the “No Parking” signs are installed on your street. Please heed the “No Parking” signs so as not to incur a ticket and possible towing. Thank you.
YARD WASTE COLLECTION
Just a reminder, the weekly Yard Waste pick up, can not be put in plastic bags or have plastic mixed in with it. The Yard Waste is compostable material and must be collected in a format that allows it to be composted such as in the large brown paper yard waste bags sold at local home stores, open trash cans that can easily be dumped into the Yard Waste truck or in brown paper grocery bags. Yard waste in plastic trash bags or that has plastic mixed in with it will not be taken.
WINGATE TERRACE SUBDIVISION/LAND DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Tarson LLC and Lis Construction presented a Sketch Plan of the proposed development to the Kenhorst Borough Planning Commission on Wednesday, March 28th. The development is proposed to be located on the land between Commonwealth Boulevard and the Angelica Creek, Grill Avenue and High Boulevard. A Preliminary Plan for 28 -29 single family homes is expected to be received by the Borough in May or June for review. Watch the Kenhorst Borough website home page for announcement of the next Planning Commission meeting. All Planning Commission meetings are scheduled for the last Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. (as needed). The public is welcome to attend.
