Allegheny Aqueduct and Beidler House & Mill
From Reading:
Rte. 422 E. to exit Rte. 176.  After 1/2 mile on Rte. 176, turn right onto exit 3, Rte. 724 Birdsboro & Shillington (this will be the first exit you come to).  At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Rte. 724 east, towards Birdsboro.  Continue for approx. 2 miles to traffic light at Rte. 568.  Turn left onto Old River Rd.  Continue 1/4 mile, past aqueduct, over bridge.  The grist mill ruins and Beidler House are on the left.

Antietam Lake (230 Angora Rd., Reading)
From Reading:

Take 422 E. to Penn Street Exit. Follow Penn St. through city. Bear right onto Perkiomen Ave. Turn left onto Hill Rd, continue on Hill Rd., then bear right onto Angora Rd.

Berks County Heritage Center
From Rte. 183 & 222 intersection: Rte. 183 S. to traffic light at Tom’s MobilÔ . Continue to next right turn onto Red Bridge Rd. (at Hoffman’s Garage.) Follow road to parking lot.

Berks Leisure Area
From Reading:
Rte. 422/222 Bypass, continue on Rte. 222 until Broadcasting Rd. exit.  At the end of the ramp, turn right.  At stop sign, turn right onto Tulpehocken Rd.  Follow the road until the next stop sign (3-WAY INTERSECTION). Go straight at this stop sign. Berks Leisure will be on your left.

Camp Joy
From Reading:
Follow 183 past the Reading Airport.  At the third traffic light beyond the airport, turn left onto West Leesport Road. (If traveling from Bernville on Rte. 183 S., turn right onto West Leesport Road.)  Go 1/4 mile to the stop sign.  Turn right onto County Road.  Continue on County Road, past Berks Heim.  Turn left at next intersection marked "Berks Heim Annex and Camp Joy".  Continue on road past Berks Heim Annex into CAMP JOY.  Parking is located on the right after crossing the bridge.

Gring's Mill Recreation Area
From Rte.222 & Broadcasting Rd. intersection: Exit onto Broadcasting Rd., turn towards PSU-Berks Campus. Follow down to stop sign at Tulpehocken Rd. intersection. Turn right onto Tulpehocken Rd. Gring’s Mill entrance is on your left.

Hunsicker's Grove, Mertztown
From FLEETWOOD: - Take Fleetwood/Lyons Road through Topton and Mertztown. Follow road over 1-lane bridge. Turn left onto Smith Lane, just past Blue Orchid Inn. Continue to Stop Sign. Bear right. Park entrance is .8 mile on the right.

Kaercher Creek Park, Hamburg
From Reading:
Rte. 61 N. to Hamburg exit (S. 4^th St.). Go through 3 traffic lights. At third light, turn right onto State Street. Travel approx. 1 mile. Park entrance on right between brick house and 45 mph sign.

Leesport Lock House
In Leesport, turn at the Rte. 61 traffic light at the Turkey Hill Market onto Wall Street.  Continue two blocks, and the Lock House will be on your right.

Red Bridge Recreation Area
Located on Tulpehocken Rd., Spring Twp. From Rte. 222 & Broadcasting Rd., turn towards Penn State-Berks Campus.  At Tulpehocken Rd. stop sign, turn left.  Park entrance approx. 1/2 mile on right.

Stonecliffe Recreation Area
Located on Columbia St., Reading. From Rte 183, turn onto Columbia St. At T-intersection, turn left onto Butler St. Follow curve to end of street.

Youth Recreation Facility
From Rte. 183 and Rte. 222 intersection: Rte. 183 N. to traffic light at West Leesport Rd. Turn left onto West Leesport Rd. Follow to stop sign. Turn right onto County Rd. Approx. .4 mile, turn left into facility at barn. Follow drive past barn (on left) to parking area.
