Recorder of Deeds News
The Budget bill recently signed into law by Governor Tom Corbett contained a 51% increase in the State Tax known as the Judicial Fee.
Effective August 8, 2014 the PA Judicial Fee will increase from $23.50 to $35.50.  The base fee for recording all documents to which the fee applies will increase from $65.00 to $77.00.
We apologize for the short notice but this tax was increased by the PA Legislature and Governor Corbett and is beyond our control.

The common level ratio factor for July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015 will be 1.31
