MISSION
The Smart Growth Alliance of Berks County is comprised of
fifteen organizations who are committed to implementing the 
Berks County Vision 2020 Comprehensive Plan and to fostering
future development in accordance with Smart Growth principles
through education and dialogue among the many stakeholders
involved in land use planning and development.

This 13-acre mixed use urban infill redevelopment site converts a 330,000-square-foot abandoned industrial building into apartments, retail space, and a hotel.  The site is close to existing outlet retail shops and within walking distance of transit stops, downtown West Reading, and the Reading Medical Center.
