This multi-jurisdictional investigation involved the manufacturing, distribution and possession of child pornography.
The defendant, Antonio Michael Biondo, was present when the search warrant was executed at his residence.
Pursuant to the search warrant, the detectives seized items of evidence related to the child pornography investigation.
A forensic examination was conducted on the physical evidence which was seized during the search warrant. The forensic examination yielded numerous digital images and videos of suspected child pornography.
The forensic examination also recovered digital videos which were created by the defendant, while the defendant was engaging in sexual intercourse with a female.
Through further investigation, Detectives were able to positively identify the female depicted in the sexually explicit video created by the defendant. The female was (16) sixteen years old when the video was created in August 2019. She was unaware that the sexual encounter with the defendant, which occurred inside her Sinking Spring residence, was captured and recorded by the defendant.
The defendant was (19) nineteen years old when he created the video.
The defendant then distributed the video through electronic communications to others.
On May 26, 2020, the Berks County Detectives Office filed criminal charges against the defendant at Magisterial District Judge Kyley Scott’s Office and an arrest warrant was issued.
On May 27, 2020, at approximately 11:30 A.M., the defendant surrendered to the Berks County Detectives. He was accompanied by his attorney.
The defendant was taken into custody and immediately escorted to the Central Processing Center and released into the custody of the Berks County Sheriff’s Department.

As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, and the defendant Antonio Michael Biondo, is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
