DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

On Thursday, June 24, 2021, the Berks County Detective’s Office received a complaint from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (N.C.M.E.C.), involving file sharing of child pornography utilizing the internet/web application “Google.”

The Berks County Detectives learned that an individual uploaded numerous digital videos of suspected child pornography to a “Google” account in April and May of 2021.

Detectives identified the aforementioned “Google” account as being in the name of “Kilvio Guzman Figueroa.” Additionally, they determined that the I.P. addresses utilized to upload these digital files of child pornography to the target “Google” account were from a Comcast Cable Communications account in the name of “Kilvio Guzman”, 826 N 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.

On Thursday, September 16, 2021, the Berks County Detective’s Office executed a search warrant at 826 N 11th Street, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania 19604. Several electronic devices were seized during the service of this search warrant and the defendant did knowingly admit that he received images of child pornography that were inadvertently uploaded to his “Google” account.

Later, a forensic analysis was conducted on the electronic devices seized from the defendant’s residence. As a result, numerous digital files (images and videos) of child pornography were recovered from two of his devices.

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, the defendant was taken into custody by members of the Berks County Detectives.

The defendant was transported to the Central Processing Center located at the Berks County Courthouse where he was fingerprinted and photographed. The defendant was arraigned and bail was set at $10,000 and posted on May 24, 2022.

A criminal complaint is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
