In early June of 2020, the Berks County Drug Task Force along with the West Reading Police Department initiated and drug investigation relative to suspects, Ruben Delgado and Yolanda Figueroa being involved in drug activity in the area of the 100 block of Yarnell Street, West Reading, Pennsylvania.
Based on information received and investigation conducted, on September 3, 2020, detectives obtained a search warrant for the residences of 122 Yarnell, West Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.  The search warrant was issued by a Berks County Common Pleas Judge.
On September 4, 2020 at approximately 6:05 AM, the Berks County Task Force and the West Reading Police served the search warrant at 122 Yarnell Street, West Reading, Pennsylvania.    
As a result of the search warrant, evidence of cocaine and marijuana trafficking were found throughout the residence.  The following items were seized:
           Two ounces containing suspected marijuana
           Eight plastic baggies containing suspected cocaine
           A loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun
           A loaded Ruger Mini-14 .223 caliber semi-automatic rifle
           A stock of ammunition
           Packaging material consistent with the distribution of cocaine and marijuana
           Two digital scales
On January 13, 2021, at approximately 7:30 AM, the defendants, Ruben Delgado and Yolanda Figueroa were arrested at their individual residences without incident.  They were charged as listed above.  Subsequently, the defendants were transported to the Berks County Sheriff’s Department Central Processing Center for processing and video arraignment by Magisterial District Judge Strand.  Bail for each defendant was set at $75,000.  The defendants were committed to Berks County Prison.
As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
