DETAILS OF INCIDENT:
During January 2021, the Berks County Drug Task Force along with Wyomissing Police initiated a drug investigation relative to Warren Sperbeck III dealing Methamphetamine in the area of the 600 block of N. 5th Street, Reading, Pennsylvania.
On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, the Berks County Detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence of 631 N. 5th Street, 3rd floor apartment, Reading, Pennsylvania. The search warrant was issued by Magisterial District Judge Tonya Butler.
On Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 6:27 AM, the Berks County Drug Detectives, Wyomissing Police and the Reading Police Vice Unit served the search warrant. Sperbeck was taken into custody. As a result of the search, the following items were found and seized:
- An amount of methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine and heroin/fentanyl (with a street value of $3,000)
- Related drug paraphernalia associated with distribution.
Warren C. Sperbeck III was transported to the Berks County Sheriff’s Central Processing Center. Bail was set at $40,000 and he was transported to Berks County Jail.
As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
