DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

 
On June 10, 2020, in the early morning hours, detectives from the Berks County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force conducted a round-up of drug traffickers throughout Berks County.  Detectives attempted to serve arrest warrants on eleven suspects for violations of the PA Controlled Substances Drug Act.  These suspects distributed controlled substances throughout Berks County.  Undercover detectives made purchases of controlled substances ranging in value from $40 to $505 in U.S. Currency. 
 
Below is a list of the suspects charged.  A total of eight suspects (shaded red) have been apprehended. The remaining three suspects are still at large.  If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of the wanted suspects please conduct the Berks County District Attorney’s Detectives at 610-478-7171 and/or Crime Alert Berks 1-877-373-9913.

1.     Derrian Thomas (26 years of age)

2.     Hector R. Carreras (36 years of age)
110 S. Wyomissing Ave., Shillington PA
Charges:  Possession, PWI, Delivery of Cocaine (2 counts)

3.     William Pettis (49 years of age)
31 South 9th Street, Reading, PA
Charges:  Possession, PWI, Delivery of Cocaine

4.     Chayenne Rodriguez (29 years of age)
1321 Kenney Street, Reading, PA

11.  Edwin Olivencia (63 years of age)

During the arrest of target #10 (Oscar Vazquez-Diaz) at 1120 North 6th Street, Reading, PA, detectives seized two kilograms of heroin and four semi-automatic handguns.  The total street value of the bulk amount of heroin was estimated at $120,000 and the dosage value was estimated at $400,000.
 
As in every criminal case, the fact that an arrest occurred or a complaint has been filed is merely an accusation, a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
