Training & Exercises
Municipal EMA Training
Several times throughout the year, Berks DES provides a number of training classes for municipal emergency management coordinators and their staff. Training is typically held on the last Wednesday of the month at 8:00am and 6:30 pm (usually two offerings of the same class) at the Berks DES offices located at 2561 Bernville Rd. in Bern Township. A schedule of the various classes can be found on the calendar of events link on the home page or by clicking here.
Berks DES also makes available many of the training presentation PowerPoint files to be used as a refresher for those unable to make the instructor led training. Be sure to check this page frequently as more training resources are added;
