April is National Kite Month, and the Berks County Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present our popular “Let's Go Fly a Kite!” Festival for over 30 years!  This year’s event is once again united with a county-wide YMCA Healthy Kids Day on Saturday, May 2 from 10 am to 4:00 pm.
This Free fun active event will have something for everyone in your family!  Your kids can come fly a kite, plant a garden, experience the YMCA’s Summer Day Camp program, get some great health and wellness information, taste test some healthy food, and meet local law enforcement personnel.  Together our kids will “Awaken the Summer Imagination & Take Flight!”  For more information on the local initiative, visit www.ymca-berkscounty.org
