Welcome to the County of Berks
Prothonotary's Office
***IMPORTANT***
Most of our renovations having been completed, the Prothonotary Office will fully reopen to the public on Monday, April 18, 2022.  The Prothonotary PFA Filing area has moved to the now former intake area directly across from the 2nd floor elevators.  The Prothonotary Document Filing area (for all other files) is now located in the former research/public computer area.  Our staff is being cross trained for AD (Appearance Docket) and JD (Judgment Docket) work.  Prothonotary Docket Books have moved from the old research area to the New Prothonotary Research Room (formerly the file storage room).  For entry to the new research room, please proceed to the Document Filing area and a staff member will be happy to assist you.  Thank you for your continued patience.
