The purpose of the Berks County Workforce Development Board (WDB) is to identify the long-term, strategic workforce development needs of the community; propose strategies to meet those needs; set priorities; build partnerships to align resources in support of those strategies; test specific initiatives to advance those ends; and measure and evaluate results.

The Southeast Pennsylvania Region and Local 2017-2020 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Local Plans have been modified and are available to view at the Chester County Workforce Development Board
Meetings of the Berks County Workforce Development Board (WDB) for calendar year 2020 are scheduled quarterly, in March, June, September and December at 7:30 a.m. in Room 100 at the PA CareerLink® Berks County, 1920 Kutztown Road, Suite F, Reading, PA 19604.

The WDB will hold Executive Committee meetings in Room 211 of the Berks County Workforce Development Board’s office, 1920 Kutztown Road, Suite G, Reading, PA 19604 on:

September 10, 2020 at 11:15 a.m.
December 3, 2020 at 8:45 a.m.
Any variation in the meeting schedules will be announced as far in advance as possible. Special meetings may be held at the call of the Chair.
