Please see the attached Fact Sheet as received from the Berks County Department of Emergency Services as related to losses that may have been suffered during the June 20 and 21, 2019 storms.  It does not relate to losses suffered on any other dates.  Efforts are still underway with regard to those storms.
Berks County has received a Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Declaration for Flash Flooding on June 20 and 21, 2019.  A Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) will be established at the Township of Spring Fire Department (hours and location of operation below) for residents affected during this period.  Residents can sit down with loan experts to discuss loan options and complete an application if desired.  Also, for persons not desiring face to face contact with SBA representatives, applications can be completed online at (click on "Apply Online").  Also, at the same link, applications (click on "Loan Information") can be downloaded and printed for completion at home.  Completed applications can be dropped off at the DLOC or mailed to U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX   76155.
Applicants may also call SBA's Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email for more information on SBA disaster assistance.  Individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing may call (800) 877-8339.
