Mohnton Borough Administration continues to monitor COVID-19 and the services that the borough provides to the residents.

Curbside yard waste will be picked up on Mondays, Sept 21 & 28, and Oct 5.

The borough continues to offer the Yard Waste Disposal site located at the Borough Facility which is open for access 7 days a week. The borough site is only for debris from borough properties.
Please follow the CDC public health guidelines by maintaining social distancing while visiting the Yard Waste Site.

Trash and recycling pick ups will continue as scheduled. Trash must now be bagged in appropriate trash bags and properly secured at the top. Other forms of disposal will not be collected to prevent the spreading of COVID-19 contamination. If mattresses or box springs are placed out for disposal on the Second Wednesday of April they must also be placed in plastic. Recycling can continue to placed in containers as normal.

The Borough of Mohnton, Berks County, PA is seeking applicants to fill the position of Fulltime Maintenance Foreman in their Maintenance Department. The maintenance foreman supervises 1-2 laborers and reports to the borough Secretary. The maintenance foreman will be responsible for leading the maintenance department.
The park is OPEN for use. There are no sanitary facilities are the Mohnton Memorial Park. Pavilion Rentals will not be available during 2020.

The Mohnton Borough Office will be CLOSED to all visitors beginning March 16, 2020, and remain closed for the coming weeks as Borough Staff closely monitors the Coronavirus situation.

All payments including tax payments may be dropped in the black drop box in front of the office.

Refuse and recycling collection will continue as usual on the normal routes and schedules.
