NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF SINKING SPRING BOROUGH
Effective Monday, 3/23/20, Eagle Disposal Residential Collections will operate as follows:
Trash Collection- On Schedule as Normal
Recycle Collection- On Schedule as Normal
Bulk Item Collection- temporary suspension until further notice
We are doing this so we can continue to focus all our efforts and personnel on trash and recycle collection. The collection of trash is our top priority as improperly managed waste can create conditions that may have severe adverse effects on public health, safety and the environment. With the number of people at home, volumes are increasing significantly at the curb. We will do our best to get materials cleaned up, there will be situations that will be over the limits which we must adhere to. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this unprecedented crisis.

MARCH 16, 2020
The safety and well-being of our employees and residents remains the Borough’s #1 priority. To that effect all Borough Offices will be closed to the public until further notice. All meetings and events are cancelled until further notice.
Borough employees will be here during normal business hours: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. We can be contacted by phone during those hours.
Sewer and trash payments may be placed in the locked black mail box to the left of our door. You may also call and pay your bill over the phone with a credit card. We take Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Payments can also be mailed to the Borough office.
We encourage everyone to check back regularly for updates via our Facebook page and Website.
CANCELLATION OF REC. BOARD EVENTS:
The Borough of Sinking Spring is doing its part to limit large group gatherings to keep our community healthy. Following the recommendations from all levels of government, it is a requirement to postpone our March 21st Community Breakfast and cancel our April 4th Easter Egg Hunt both scheduled to be held at the Liberty Fire Company on Ruth St. in Sinking Spring.
We hope that this proactive action will limit the spread of the virus, but will not lessen your excitement to attend in the future.
