  • Community CARES Act Assessment
    ​The Berks County Board of Commissioners launches an online Community Needs Assessment to gather specific information to assist in the determination of how the $38 million of CARES Act monies should be allocated to community providers to capture the highest and best application of the funds.  The county hired Witt O'Brien's to assist in sourcing grant monies and aid our community partners to access additional CARES funding sources.  County Commissioners' Meetings

Online Public Meeting Information
The Berks County Commissioners announced several meeting changes today making it clear they are beginning the transition towards a "New Normal." Click to read the full press release.
  • The daily COVID-19 Leadership meetings that were established in the March 12th Berks County declaration of local disaster emergency will no longer occur except in the case of COVID-19 emergency.
  • Commissioners' Weekly Thursday Meetings will resume May 7, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. The meetings will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams Live Event and broadcast live on BCTV.
  • New Berks County Operations Meeting will also be held on a weekly basis each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. These meetings will be held virtually via a Microsoft Teams Live Event.
  • Phase 3 Recovery & Beyond Meeting will be held each Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. These meetings will be held virtually via a Microsoft Teams Live Event.
The public may participate via the Q&A feature on Microsoft Teams Live. A link to each of the meeting's Microsoft Teams Live event will be posted to the County's website along with the meeting agenda.
