The purpose of the Berks County Workforce Development Board (WDB) is to identify the long-term, strategic workforce development needs of the community; propose strategies to meet those needs; set priorities; build partnerships to align resources in support of those strategies; test specific initiatives to advance those ends; and measure and evaluate results.

The Southeast Pennsylvania Region and Local 2017-2020 Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Local Plans have been modified and are available to view at the
Chester County Workforce Development Board website.
Meetings of the Berks County Workforce Development Board (WDB) for calendar year 2021 are scheduled quarterly, in March, June, September and December at 7:30 a.m. and will be held on a virtual platform. Please vist

The WDB will hold Executive Committee meetings on a virtual platform. Public notice of each meeting will be advertised with a conference telephone number and ID to access the

June 10, 2021 at 8:45 a.m.
September 9, 2021 at 11:15 a.m.
December 2, 2021 at 8:45 a.m.
Any variation in the meeting schedules will be announced as far in advance as possible. Special meetings may be held at the call of the Chair.
